How we help

Psychological therapy

Difficulties with depression, anxiety, and adjustment are common after experiencing a traumatic brain injury.

We tailor our therapy and behavioural interventions to suit the unique needs of our clients, considering any physical, psychological, and cognitive challenges resulting from brain injury.

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)

  • Eye Movement and Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy

  • Supportive Counselling

Positive behaviour support (PBS)

After experiencing a traumatic brain injury, families, carers, and service providers may notice changes in behaviour which cause concern.

We work collaboratively with individuals, families and care providers to conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the causes of behaviours of concern and develop PBS strategies to improve quality of life and wellbeing for individuals and those supporting them.

We deliver training to carers and support staff around brain injury and behaviour, and provide ongoing monitoring, evaluation, and support around PBS strategies.

  • Person-driven practice

  • Focus on skill development

  • Values-based intervention

  • Collaborative and iterative behaviour analysis

  • Brain injury and behaviour support training for attendant care staff and families

  • Practical, individualised PBS Plans
